2.    Salmon:

It is one of those dilemmas of the pregnant women of not knowing whether they should consume fish or not, and if so, which one to eat? The answer to this question is Salmon. Salmon is ultimately rich in protein of high quality. On the other hand, it is also an exceptional source of providing omega-3 fats, specifically DHA, to the pregnant body, which is essential for the development of the baby inside the womb.

3.    Yogurt:

Yogurt, specifically Greek yogurt, is essential for a pregnant woman for providing calcium to the body. The calcium found in yogurt is ideal for the growing bones of the baby, and it also helps in keeping your bones strong too. Furthermore, Greek yogurt is capable of providing you with twice the protein compared to that of regular yogurt. You have to fulfill the needs of the baby in your womb without compromising on your needs and nutrition.

4.    Leafy Greens:

The leafy green vegetables are proficient in providing you with the essential vitamins and nutrients that you and your baby needs, including the vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin K. The leafy greens are also efficient in promoting eye health. The leafy greens like spinach, preferably cooked, lettuce, turnip greens, kale, etc., are necessary for the expectant mother to intake in her everyday diet. The easy way of doing it is by adding the leafy greens to your salads.
